About
Dutch soprano Gabrielle Mouhlen is a Lirico Spinto with a versatile repertoire that include operatic roles as well as concert repertoire. Her powerful voice and warm, personal tone, combined with exeptional acting talent, make her a highly regarded artist on international stages.
Her most frequently sung roles are Norma, Abigaille (Nabucco), Tosca, Aida, Turandot, Lady MacBeth, Santuzza (Cavaleria Rusticana) and Minnie in La Fanciulla del West.
Her collaboration with the world-renowned conductor Riccardo Muti in 2021, who invited her to sing the role of Abigaille in Milan and at the Ravenna Festival, is one of her many highlights.
From 2018 to 2021 she was the soprano in the ensemble of the Aalto Musiktheater in Essen, Germany, where she sang leading roles in Aida, Tosca, Nabucco, Pique Dame, Otello, Don Carlo and I Pagliacci.
She was a guest at Opéra de Nice Côte d’Azur, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Opernhaus Dortmund. Staatstheater Nürnberg, Aalto Musiktheater Essen, Theater Koblenz, Domstufen Festival Erfurt, Theater Magdeburg, Teatro Reggio di torino, Teatro dal Verme Milano, Festival Luglio Trapanese, Festival di Pesaro, Puccini Festival Torre del Lago, Taormina Opera Festival, Teatro Verdi di Trieste, National Theater Brno Czech Republic, National Macedonian Theater Skopje, National Romanian Opera Timisoara, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, HNK National Croatian Opera Zagreb, Grand Théâtre de Genève and many others.

Absolute highlight in her career was the concert under the baton of Maestro Riccardo Muti in Milano. Here Gabrielle performed succesfully as Abigaille in Verdi’s Nabucco.
